Lassi is a popular Indian drink laced with yogurt. Often times recipes call for a dash of cumin, but my version has omitted that spice and added a few different ingredients for a distinctively sweeter taste.
Rinse some fresh strawberries and, if you've previously made Milk tea from this blog, get out the leftover fat-free condensed milk.
Combine three or four strawberries and two big spoonfuls of condensed milk, drizzle a bit of honey, add a dab of yogurt, and pour a lot of fat-free milk for thinner lassi or just a little for a thicker drink.
Then a couple ice cubes and you're ready.
Blend until smooth and serve! With a few fragrant leaves of mint fresh from the garden, this strawberry lassi is a heavenly dessert treat or breakfast companion. The honey gives it this almost tea-like flavor that tastes very good with the condensed milk. All finished.
Enjoy~!
